As a teenager, contracting glandular fever first peaked my interest in health. I personally studied vitamin and mineral supplementation, wasting significant amounts of money. I continued research because I had to know why I was ill and why these supplements weren't working.
Years later, that same fascination led me to study remedial massage, and graduating in 1990 started my career looking for more ways to help people.
30 years in the industry, and I have never stood still. Over the years I have studied:
• Exercise with Paul Chek of the famous Chek Institute
• Stretch Therapy with Kit Laughlin
• Advanced Musculoskeletal Therapy with Dr. Paul Conneely
• Raw food nutrition with David Wolfe
In the late 1990's, I was contracted to write and deliver the Diploma of Health Science (Massage), Diploma of Remedial Massage, and Cert IV Fitness through Wodonga TAFE, where I was the lead instructor, allowing me to impart my knowledge to a new generation of massage and fitness professionals.
in 2006, I commenced my training in Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST) a world class system of removing blockages to the bodys attempts to heal itself.
After years of study in this field, I became one of only three practitioners qualified to teach at practitioner level in Australia, and one of approximately 20 globally at the time. This led to privately engaging in teaching practitioners across Eastern Australia.
in 2014, I trained in Quantum Reflex Analysis which began my journey away from traditional massage and into holistic therapy that included elements of bodywork, nutrition and emotional work.
Over the later years, I have presented at National and Regional conferences with excellent reviews.
Since 2020, I have devoted myself to learning in the areas of Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and the latest in Postural Science along with Mind / Gut/ Immune Nutrition.
