Woman in her 50s with neck pain, anxiety, stress related headaches, sinus issues, eye issues, fatigue and pelvic pain following surgery. She eats a combination of primarily plant- based diet. The client has had many, many, treatments for a variety of ailments, not the least of which is her neck / forward head posture.
Clearly this did not develop overnight. It will be important to perform a physical assessment to determine where treatment can begin. Assessment will be widespread and treatment very limited until her body can handle it. In other words, I want to build her up to tolerate a regime of treatment and lifestyle changes.
Session One :
An assessment of the brain via kinesiology shows the amygdala (known as the fear centre) is poorly functioning as is his Hypothalamus – Pituitary – Adrenal axis. Further assessment shows that the glands are heavily influenced by poor gut health and that treatment needs to begin in the gut area. The amygdala is also affected by poor adrenal health.
Treatment:
Open organ drainage pathways using Neurostructural Integration Technique which takes the body out of fight / flight mode and into a calm place where the body can “hear” the treatment and does not fight it. The other option is to trigger organ drainage via laser bursts into ear acupuncture points. I elected to use a bit of both.
This will initiate the liver and kidneys to commence unloading of stored toxins and unneeded stress hormones (perhaps recycled for years).
We supported that with a careful but basic dietary change, hydration, basic exercise to sweat and a simple breathwork drill to calm the body daily.
Session Two:
The client went through some discomfort due to her body unloading toxins faster than she could eliminate them but he did all the work asked of her and felt happier and healthier.
Investigating her neck and forward head posture has become a priority.
Measuring her chest expansion showed she is very limited in lung capacity and there are altered breathing mechanics. Correction of posture allows 33% greater expansion. She needs to be more mobile through the spine in the upper back.
Her gut nerves, adrenal glands, several brain areas were compromised by her neck / head posture.
Importantly her frontal cortex was testing off and this creates flexor muscle inhibition and raised cortisol levels which we are seeing.
The client’s cell energy points tested off suggesting the possibility of a chronic freeze state within her nervous system. This is seen in her fixed chest and upper back posture.
Her upper cervical vertebra tested off and this was assessed as being emotional in origin.
Assessing her likely emotional triggers (she did not need to verbalise them) we located a primary trigger.
Treatment:
I then walked her through some Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and saw an immediate change as her distress (yes there were tears) reduced.
The client was instructed in gentle chest expansion drills, posture correction drills and asked to carry these out daily as well as the EFT work.
The client was visibly upset by the emotional work so I finished the session with some gentle manual NST work to draw her back into Parasympathetic Nervous System dominance – in other words – to relax her.
Session Three:
The client was incredibly happy with progress he said she has not experienced before.
Her Vagus nerve, Oxidative stress levels, Cell energy tests and other previous failed tests were now ok in her “normal posture”.
Her sinus complaints were assessed to be trigeminal nerve related.
The frontal lobe of the brain still tested as dysfunctional due to accumulated radiation from a medical scan.
This was immediately treated using laser acupuncture resulting in all brain tests being functional along with the remainder of her gut nerves.
The emphasis now would become a bigger physical treatment aimed at supporting chest expansion and mobility and reducing stress on the upper cervical spine in line with her initial goals of dealing with the neck issues.
This physical treatment involved balancing muscles and joints in her spine, shoulders and chest.
The client was instructed, after testing to begin liposomal turmeric orally and to use saline nasal rinses. The sinuses are showing signs of inflammation which is masking what is happening with her trigeminal nerve. Exercises are as previously instructed.
Outcome:
I am pleased with her results as according to my tests and her testimony, many obstructions to AUTO – REGULATION are being eliminated, creating less load on her system which just drains resources.
I need to educate her that a lack of symptoms does not equate to good health and these issues accumulated over a long time. It will be an appropriately long time before her body adapts to her new status but cells are regenerating constantly so there is hope. The slowest changes are seen in bone, so constantly unloading bone over an extended time frame (minimum 6 months) will be necessary to allow changes in posture to become more fixed and supportive of good health.
